This is a wall in an alley in East Atlanta Village, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Atlanta. It’s a little grungy but all the good pubs are there (except for the Thinking Man Pub, my favorite, which is in Decatur). I love the aboriginal feel of the figures and the hundreds of handprints – they remind me of the handprints in Lascaux, the prehistoric cave art in France (which I’ve never seen in person. YET.)
I shot these with my gopro, which is why they have the curved effect. I was just playing around with that camera this weekend.
This cheeky little guy is in the parking lot behind the big mural. I hope he makes the garbageman smile.
